hey people... as you know, the car crash animation is up. the "plane crashing into building" one is getting on ok (wondering if i should make the plane break in half... but dunno how to do that at the moment).

to donny: am working on the animation for the thing with the bones for a character in the idle state of plane crash.

Character Animation

Guys, I managed to animate our Photographer Main Character.
I Animated his walk sequence, idle (looking here and there) and preparing to take picture.
I Managed to put the camera in his hand. Check out the video here.

I also integrated him to the game, and it works pretty well. Basically if the player doesn't press anything, he will idle. The moment you walk him forward, it will play the animated sequence. If you press the 'ready to take photo' button, he will lift his camera up.

After presentation comments given

Here are some of the comments given mentioned during our presentations:
1. Is one level design enough? Can we finish it?
2. Urgency of the game --> when players are deleting the photos, the events are still happening
3. How do the players know that they have taken a good picture?
4. define the relationships between events
5. Scoring system --> through pictures or sentences (the direction the player is going?)
6. Is it the point system that determines the value of the person or how objective the person is?
7. Some background should be given to show what they should be focussing
8. How do we define the quality of the photos? For instance, capturing all the events vs. capturing all the events but with a hand spoiling the image
9. How to rate the photos? What are they being judged on? Why is it a good shot for this one and bad shot for the others?
